1, What is PEX-B Pipe?
PEX pipe is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). All PEX Pipe are divided into 3 types: A , B, AND C. Here we only talk about PEX-B Pipe.
Pex-B Pipe is the most common type. This type is formed using silane, or moisture cure method. The installation method utilizes insert-style fittings by inserting them into the pipe and securing them with a copper sleeve using a crimp tool.
2, Advantage of PEX-B PIPE
Compared to PEX-A and PEX-C, PEX-B pipe has the highest chlorine and oxidation resistance and burst pressure. It has been in use for over 40 years.
PEX-B Pipe is the softest. It is also the most flexible. The increased flexibility means that the pipe will last longer.
PEX-B Pipe is a winner in terms of price compared with both other types.
